Amazing. Literally a week ago, somebody told me I looked like one of Madonna's back up dancers named Daniel 'Cloud' Campos, and I looked him up, and then one week later he shows up in this Shakira music video.

So today some dude nutted up and shot his ex-girlfriend when she was on her lunch break at work this morning (coincidentally, the same place my roommate works) in a plaza TWO MINUTES away from my house. Then there was this manhunt going on and UGA sent out mass txts to let us know that a black man in jeans and a camo hoodie (descriptive, right?) was armed and dangerous and on the loose around the edge of campus near where I live. Fortunately, the police found him and apparently there was a crossfire and the guy got killed. Crazy ass people these days... freaked me the fuck out. Always nice when you get a text telling you that the police found a dead woman near where you live.

Be thankful you received the text message about another woman, and it wasn't everyone else receiving the text message about you.

I know right. I was freaked out! This is the second murder on campus this year that I know of... wtf.

After midnight, I went to a strip club for my birthday with a few guys, and a friend paid for a lap-dance. I'm telling you, she was as annoying as heck. For starters, she complained about my palms being sweaty and felt it was unpleasant as I massaged her, so that wasn't fun and I had to make sure to not use my palms. Then she tells me I have a funny accent when I'm talking with her in French and I have to explain my native tongue is English. Then after she asks me which borough I'm from, it turns out she's never even heard of it, nor any of the landmarks that are close to it (like where the city's only hospital is) and I have to say I live near a rather popular video store. Then, to add insult to all these little injuries, as she hints about my taking her to my home to "celebrate" my birthday, I painfully have to tell her that my parents don't let me bring home girls... And I'm 24. Yeah, Happy Birthday indeed.
To be fair though, this all happened after midnight, so it wasn't on my birthday at least. As for the 5th itself, it was a good day overall, just a few little annoyances here and there. I received 98 messages wishing me a happy birthday (75 from Facebook, 2 from MSN, 13 text messages, 1 phone call, 6 in person including a security guard who saw my ID at the gym, and 1 card from my locker partner), not including wishes from family, so that was nice.

Aw, happy late birthday wishes Jerrod. When you blew out your candles, I hope you wished that your parents would tolerate you getting a little action [haha, totally could have related the blowing comment in a better more sexual innuendo fulfilling way]. Lap dances are awkward. Are you supposed to be aroused or is that considered being creepy?
