this game could be awesome.

The problem isn't DC sucking, it's midway sucking. Ed Boon takes no pride in anything he does. MK is the most consistently mediocre top selling game.

Ok, so this is officialy MK8, or is there still going to be a MK8? I hope this isn't an MK8 considering this should kinda be classified as a spin-off, and any future Mortal Kombat games (8 and 9) were suppossed to have all new characters, not original characters, am I right, or am I wrong?

Who gives a shit if DC chatacters are in it. All this is a new idea they are expierimenting with and it doesn't mean they won't make an mk for the fans in the near future.

I just wish they would allow for the fatalities to be as they normally were. Superman could have some crazy fatalities using his strength.

I have never once had a fantasy about kicking a superhero's ass with a mortal kombat charactar, which is probubly why I've not liked the idea.

When I first heard about the idea .. I didn't like it so much.. but now its grown on me.."alot like mk 1 i suppose" anywho I think its a cool concept.. I think its going to make LOTS OF MONEY... but over all its not that bad of an idea when I actually come to terms with it.. I mean the universe of MK has crossed over with other worlds and the Universe of DC has crossed over worlds before also.. so its not that far fetched... me being a big fan of READING "OMG NOT THAT!!!" Honestly I think it will work out fine...Most DC comics are pretty violent... "Doomsday comics, Lobo, batman comics are usually FULL OF Blood, so on and so on" The only people I notice who really really hate this idea...are the ones who don't Read...or to be fair don't read Comic books...if this had been marvel perhaps people would have liked it more seeing as how...you don't have to read to know who marvel characters are..."most of em are movies at this point"... Most people know about Batman and Superman and judge that upon "Movies they have seen" Not actual Comics "GOD FORBIDE ANY OF YOU READ" but i still say

PS: Lost my rant(had it saved), so I'm starting another one.

It's very unlikley. Boon is way into this. Not like he's just gonna drop the whole idea after confirming characters and arenas and all sorts of vauge details. Plus he's wanted to do this type of crossover type thing since MK3 or MK4. MK VS DC is gonna be on the shelves and theirs nothing anyone can do about it. And all of you who are just gonna blow this off and leave MK cause of one possibly bad game I'd at least try it first THEN judge it.
I don't personally think it will compare with some of the factors from previous MK games but I'm gonna at least give it a chance. From what we currently know it could be bad or turn around and be a decent game.
It could turn out either way. We'll never know unless we try it.

Anyone else feel the info Ed Boon is giving out in his interviews is repetitive? He says the same things in the same ways over and over again.
