Megan Thee Stallion is Mileena in Mortal Kombat 11 Promo
MK11, MJB, MTS, and Mileena.

Chart topping artist Megan Thee Stallion has become Mileena for a cross-promotional campaign for Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate and UK clothing label MJB. She bares her fangs in a short video that also showcases the recently returned playable Tarkatan hybrid. Take a look:

The Savage singer has gone from collaborating with Beyonce on a #1 single, to embodying the deadly designs of Mileena and MJB. She poses in an outfit similar to Mileena's klassic Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3 look, wielding twin sai weapons and a wicked grin.

The high end Mortal Kombat X Clothing Line also features a partnership with boxing sportswear label Everlast and brand ambassadors Dimitri Vegas, British rapper M24, and MMA fighter Michael "Venom" Page. The trio is pictured below [via The Daily Mail].

The pop culture legacy of Mortal Kombat continues to manifest in contemporary celebrity and fashion. In 2016 Zayn Malik and Versace took inspiration from MK for the singer's Met Gala design. Former WWE wrestler Zelina Vega also recently created her own cosplay versions of Edenians Kitana and Mileena.

MK11 Ultimate is out now for PlayStation 5, PlayStartion 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Pc, Nintendo Switch, and Google Stadia. MJB & Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate Create Designer Fashions
UK clothing label goes MK!

Like Kronika assembling her allies in Mortal Kombat 11: a coalition of brands has come together in the United Kingdom to celebrate the release of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate. At the center of the promotional cabal is designer MJB, who has unleashed a line of high street MK fashions. Take a look:

The line appears to predominantly draw its inspirations from previous recent installments in the gaming franchise. The majority of offerings are named after Mortal Kombat X, with a few items carrying the familiar logo from 2011's Mortal Kombat.

The brand crossover takes advantage of the MJB label's trademark masked hoodies, also creating t-shirt, trouser, and beanie designs featuring the iconography of Sub-Zero, Scorpion, Raiden, and Baraka! Items can be purchased from the MJB Online Store with prices ranging from £60.00 for a beanie up to the premium £555.00 Baraka hoodie.

The collaboration includes established sportswear brand Everlast, and European DJ Dimitri Vegas, who also appeared as a free Sub-Zero skin in MK11, and created a Techno Syndrome remix for Mortal Kombat 11 trailers. Vegas carries over his cold association with custom ice blue track gear.

For a lazy £126.00 you can also deck out your pad with a "Mortal Kombat x MJB Cushion" which sports the Dragon Logo design featured in the 2011 game. The perfect support on your sofa or bed after a long day's fighting.

MK11 Kabal & Noob Join McFarlane Toys Summer 2021
Coming Summer 2021!

McFarlane Toys has big plans for their official Mortal Kombat 11 action figure line in 2021! Along with several exciting additions coming early next year, the toymaker has revealed two of its major releases for Summer: Kabal and Noob Saibot! Take a look:

Kabal leaps straight out of the game with his latest design recreated in exquisite detail. From the grey of his flesh, to his trademark life support mask and hookswords -- the rarely merchandised Black Dragon fighter is well represented by the McFarlane sculptors!

Fans of the less frequently featured characters will also be excited to see Bi-Han get the articulated action figure treatment! Noob Saibot is similarly faithfully recreated from MK11, wielding a jagged scythe in dramatic preview photographs released via the McFarlane Toys Gaming Facebook!

The cult favourite fighters join a line-up that already expanded with the likes of Kitana & Baraka earlier this year retailing $19.99. What do you think of Kabal & Noob? Who do you hope to see next? Share your thoughts in the comments below and talk toys in the Media & Merchandise forum!

Mortal Kombat to Receive Theatrical & HBO Max Premier in 2021
Streaming premier announced!

When Mortal Kombat is finally released in 2021 it will receive a simultaneous premier in theaters and streaming! HBO Max announced the radical shift in business for Warner Bros movies with a slate of blockbuster releases coming to the big screen and premium streaming platform. Watch the trailer:

The impact of the 2019 coronavirus pandemic has wreaked havoc with theatrical plans for major studios. With the conscientious viability of public indoor gatherings in doubt, Warner Bros relented last month, announcing streaming plans for their long-delayed tentpole Wonder Woman 1984.

Mortal Kombat producer Todd Garner speculated about indefinite delays for the reboot, originally scheduled for a theatrical release January 2021. Delays in reshoots will likely make that date impossible, but Mortal Kombat Online speculated about a possible HBO Max release.

The announcement hasn't supplied a new premier date, but did feature an updated Mortal Kombat title and dragon logo [pictured below]. The stylized gold design is much more in keeping with the iconic brand, skewing closer than a logo used while shooting.

The importance of streaming was evident in a recent corporate shuffle of WarnerMedia. You can subscribe now to HBO Max to start streaming Warner Bros content. International regions may need to explore local carriers for HBO Max releases.

The Mortal Kombat reboot is directed by newcomer Simon McQuoid with high-profile producer James Wan. You can find and discuss more details from the movie reboot in the Media & Merchandise forum!
